FP&A Manager | Oldham (Hybrid) | £65-75k+10% bonus | PE Backed

Axon Moore have partnered with a hugely successful PE backed business based in Oldham who are looking to strengthen their commercial finance function with a fully qualified FP&A Manager.

Reporting into the Head of FP&A working in a team of 5, you will be responsible for
  • Prepare and deliver accurate and timely weekly and monthly financial reports.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
  • Support the development and maintenance of the company’s forecasting models.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.
  • Drive accuracy and discipline in the forecasting process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with site managers and other stakeholders to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Act as a key liaison between the FP&A team and various departments to ensure cohesive financial planning and analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in financial planning and analysis.
  • Provide strategic support to the Head of FP&A in various projects and initiatives.

Ideal candidate:
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of succeeding in an FP&A role
  • Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
