FPGA Design Engineer - VHDL or Verilog

Location: Leicester

Salary: £50,000

An electronics businesses who specialise in the design and development of complex instrumentation for clients, who include household names from the world of F1, Automotive, Higher Education Institutions, Consumer Electronics and Whitegoods, are looking to recruit an FPGA Engineer to the team.

The business is working from a very large modern building designed specifically for R&D and Manufacture. The company complex electronics devices are shipped throughout the world and are then used in the detailed analysis of power.

The business typically competes with businesses from the far east but our client has a system which utilises FPGA's which makes their products unique. The devices read the samples working at a low level, utilising the FPGA and then synchronise with AC inputs and then compute very quickly.

The company is using VHDL but would consider someone who has worked with Verilog. The business operates a 4 day week which is very popular allowing the individual to start early at 7am and finish at 4.15pm, however the main area of the business that the growth potential is huge. The current operations manager started within the business as an administrator.
