Our client, operating within the rail sector, is currently seeking a Franchise Strategy Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is crucial in supporting the Commercial and Strategy team in delivering the company's strategic objectives, with a particular emphasis on driving commercial opportunities and revenue through data analysis.

• Supporting the Commercial and Strategy team in delivering short, medium, and long-term strategic objectives
• Analysing data to drive commercial opportunities and improve business performance
• Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance financial performance
• Ensuring compliance with obligations under the franchise agreement
• Identifying and addressing risks associated with lost revenue and ticketless travel
• Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiencies
• Collaborating with various departments to support overall business objectives
• Preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to senior management

• Experience in a commercial or analytical role, ideally within the rail, procurement, or commercial sectors
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of financial performance metrics and revenue protection strategies
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
