  • Title: Freelance Senior Video Editor

  • Start: Monday 17th February

  • Length: 9 months (ongoing)

  • Client: Insurance Agency

  • Day rate: £375 per day

  • IR35: Outside IR35

  • Work set-up: Working 5 days per week: 2 days a week in-house + other 2 days will be remote

  • Location: Liverpool Street, London

  • Brief:

    - Create storyboards.

    - Presenting to clients.

    - Filming and storytelling are very important.

    - 50/ 50 video to motion graphics in 2D After Effects.

    - Leading a few projects, paired with Lead Designers.

    - Select footage to create storytelling and typography.

    - You will be doing 2/3 stock footage and 1/3 motion design.

    - 3 in 1 = Video Editor/ Motion Designer and Post-production.

    - Experience working with film, lighting and sound equipment.

    - Apply the brand from the creative studio and elevate the videos.

    - Understanding typography and colour and use in motion is imperative.

    - They have an entry-level shooter kit camera, microphone + basic lighting.

    - You need to be very conceptual coming up with ideas, not being told the ideas.

    - Bold, impactful, super creative video editor (not your classic corporate video editor style).

    - Arrange lighting, and sound equipment, move back to post-production and put the video together.

    - The majority of work is recording footage on camera, typography, motion, transitions, working on a product video, + scripted using stock footage.
