Remuneration

  • Salary - £35,000 - £42,000
  • Annual performance related bonusses
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays

Responsibilities

  • Managing and supervising the import and export of goods from different global locations.
  • Organizing the collection process through designated transportation firms.
  • Working closely with clients, branch offices, international agents, and transportation providers, among other collaborators.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing queries and ensuring timely updates.
  • Overseeing order tracking, invoicing, and managing pre-alerts from overseas offices and agents.
  • Managing Customs entries as necessary.
  • Monitoring shipments until their ultimate delivery.
  • Managing job costing and invoicing responsibilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years' experience with a UK-based freight forwarding company.
  • Experience in import or export operations, including air, road, or ocean shipments.
  • Proficient knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with freight-related software like Cargowise, Multifreight, etc.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
