Import Operator
Location: Felixstowe
Job Type: Full-time
Salary - £28,000 to £35,000 +

Experience:
- Must have experience in completing customs entries
- We are looking for an experienced Import Operator to join our team in Felixstowe.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customs procedures and ideally have experience dealing with port health matters.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Handling all aspects of the import process from start to finish.
- Completing customs entries accurately and efficiently.
- Liaising with customers, shipping lines, and transport companies.
- Coordinating with port health authorities and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Monitoring shipments and updating customers on the status of their goods.
- Resolving any issues that may arise during the import process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Import Operator.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
- Experience with port health processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
