Salary: £55,000 to £75,000, DOE

Central London based

A global professional services company with office across Europe are recruiting a French-speaking part qualified or qualified Management Accountant to join their finance team based in central London.

Key description of the Management Accountant:

  • The successful person will assist the Finance Director in key tasks including delivery of operational services, compliance work and management and financial reporting with specific responsibility for financial duties relating to the French business.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with French accountancy, French tax matters and ideally French payroll, this is ideal, not essential.

Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

  • This management accounting role will involve producing the accounts for the French office,
  • The ideal candidate will have experience producing French accounts, have exposure to French tax and ideally, French payroll.
  • Statutory and regulatory accounts returns for the French business.
  • Monthly returns including TVA returns, DES returns and annual returns e.g. CIT returns and CVAE returns.

Financial and Management Reporting Services:

  • To provide support in the preparation of management and budgetary information.
  • To provide support in the preparation of the annual accounts.
  • To provide support in the administration of partners’ remuneration.
  • To provide support in the analysis of general ledger accounts for taxation purposes.
  • To provide additional reporting services as required.

Other duties:

  • Assisting the Finance Director on all matters relating to the annual audit process.

Skills and qualifications of the Management Accountant:

  • Part qualified or qualified accountant, ideally from a French accountancy body or a UK qualified accountant with an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification having a strong record in handling French accountancy and tax matters.
  • Highly proficient in both verbal and written French.

The recruitment process incudes a Teams interview followed by a face-to-face interview. Ideally you will be on a month’s notice or less however the company are flexible with notice periods longer than a month.
