We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 2nd in Department for Languages to join our vibrant school community in Chesterfield. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of the Languages Department, specifically focusing on French and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Head of Department in leading and managing the Languages team.

Teach French and Spanish across various year groups, ensuring high-quality delivery of the curriculum.

Support the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices.

Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Contribute to the department's strategic planning and continuous improvement efforts.

Take an active role in extra-curricular activities and language-related events.

Qualifications and Experience:

A relevant degree and teaching qualification.

Proven experience in teaching French and Spanish.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
