About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic French-speaking Primary Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Camden. This is a full-time role starting in September 2024, where the successful candidate will teach primary students while integrating French language instruction into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in both French and English, fostering bilingual proficiency.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student development and well-being.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Proven experience in teaching primary school students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
