Secondary French Teacher:

  • Job Title: French Teacher
  • Location: Plymouth
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary: £145 per day
  • Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher to join our team at a leading school in Plymouth. As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to secondary age students. The award-winning school provides education and support to pupils between the years of 11-19 across a range of subjects, with a focus on creating independent thinkers with high expectations of their own work. The school is also easily accessible by public transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students
  • Displaying a sincere desire to see all pupils improve.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending meetings and events.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience of teaching French to students or a relevant degree
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to the wellbeing of students and the ability to build positive relationships with them.
