Job Title: Graduate French Teacher

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated graduate French teacher to join our educational institution. As a French teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering students’ language skills, cultural understanding, and enthusiasm for French. Your responsibilities will include designing engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and creating a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching French Language and Culture:

    • Develop and deliver effective French language lessons to students of varying ages and proficiency levels.
    • Introduce students to French culture, literature, and history.
    • Encourage active participation and facilitate meaningful discussions in class.
  2. Assessment and Feedback:

    • Create and administer assessments (written and oral) to evaluate students’ language proficiency.
    • Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills.
    • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  3. Classroom Management:

    • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
    • Address individual learning needs and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
    • Foster a love for French language and culture among students.
  4. Collaboration and Professional Development:

    • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance the overall educational experience.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language teaching.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in French or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience.
  • Proficiency in French (native or near-native level).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
