24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for FLM on behalf of our client, based in Widnes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for in excess of 30 vehicles
  • Responsibility for 40 plus trailers
  • Managing a core driver workforce of 50 drivers
  • Managing and tracking agency drivers
  • Liaising with 10 satellite bases through out the Midlands and Northwest on a daily basis to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Full responsibility for fleet compliance and fleet management and responsibility for fleet track and trace, currently combined 863 unit and trailer fleet, also damage and accident and personal injury reporting and management.
  • Training and awareness for core and agency
  • annual assessments

  • O license compliance
  • active leadership and responsible health and safety
  • Professional appearance and approach.

Desirable skills :

  • Provide a strategic and dynamic transport solution to a sequenced JIT transport solution.
  • Leading approach towards health and safety.
  • Must work on own initiative and as part of a team and be capable of producing KPI's and reports for senior management.
  • Candidate must be able to work for a demanding customer base and adapt to pressurised situations using their own recognised and direct reporting structure.
  • Must have previous experience working in a transport office as FLM / Transport Planner/ Transport Supervisor position

Pay Information:

£30,750.00 + 20% shift allowance

Shift pattern available

Nights Monday to Friday 22:00 - 06:00
