Frontend Developer UX/UI Designer
Job Title: Frontend Developer (UX/UI Designer)
Location: London, Hybrid Working Model with 3 days a week in office
Contract: Full-time until March 2025
Salary: Up to £700 per day (DOE) - Umbrella ONLY
Summary: We are seeking a talented and innovative Frontend Developer with expertise in UX/UI design to enhance our real-time data visualization application. Your role will involve designing and implementing a user-friendly interface, creating a modular frontend architecture, and collaborating with backend developers to integrate data seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop an intuitive, modern interface for our real-time data visualization platform.
- Implement a microfrontend architecture to ensure scalability and modularity.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and enable real-time data flow.
- Utilize data visualization libraries and tools to make complex data comprehensible and engaging.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and business objectives.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine the user experience.
- Ensure the application is responsive and compatible across various browsers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient frontend code.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development and UX/UI design.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong UX/UI design portfolio.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Experience with implementing microfrontend architecture.
- Knowledge of data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Chart.js).
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design thinking, and user-centered design.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and version control systems (e.g., Webpack, Git).
- Excellent visual design skills and an understanding of user-system interactions.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
