An experienced Building Surveyor is required to join a committed Property team in the Not for Profit and Charities sector, based in Liverpool. The candidate will manage surveying duties, ensuring building projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Client Details

This is a medium-sized organisation, based in Liverpool, they are renowned for providing housing services that positively impact the community.

Description

  • Conducting detailed building surveys and reporting findings.
  • Day to Day surveying, occasional Damp & Mould / Voids
  • Planning and managing building projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborating with the Property team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Ensuring all work adheres to health and safety regulations.
  • Liaising with contractors and supervising their work.
  • Providing expert advice to stakeholders on building matters.
  • Preparing cost estimates and maintaining project budgets.
  • Resolving any building issues that may arise.

Profile

  • A proven track record in managing building projects.
  • HNC / HND ideal
  • Experience of Voids and Damp & Mould would be beneficial
  • Excellent knowledge of building regulations and health and safety.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software for surveying and project management.
