Contract Role - Full Stack Developer (React Node JS) - Remote/Manchester/Newcastle/London - 06 Months Initial - Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (React Node JS) for a 6 month approx. project to build and roll out a case management solution for job centres. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects that shape public services, leveraging modern technologies and best practices.

Role Overview:
• Job Title: Full Stack Developer (React Node JS)
• Location: Remote/Manchester/Newcastle/London (travel to client sites in Manchester/Newcastle/London will be required as dictated by project. These will be covered by expenses)
• Contract Type: Contract
• Duration: 06 months initially, with high potential for extension
• Sector: Government

• Minimum of 5 years of residency in the UK (mandatory for project requirements).
• Demonstrated experience in the public sector or similar environments.
Must-Have Skills and Experience:
• React.js and advanced JavaScript development.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js for server-side development.
• Experience with Postgres database management.
• Expertise in testing frameworks such as Cypress and JEST (JavaScript testing framework).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with the Government Design System (GDS).
• Experience with PRISMA ORM or similar tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
