Our client is creating an improved, modernised version of their market leading product which includes delivering a new Front-End GUI for their cloud-based system. This will consist of new and revised Back End services together with suitable Front-End revisions delivered using the Angular Framework. Angular will be replacing web forms.

The project is mid-way through and focussing on transferring code and features in the Legacy application to the new version. This is fresh development into the system covering the features that are already offered to customers. Then after that, there will be requirements for new features in the new system.

An opportunity has arisen for 2 Full Stack Developers but with a 60/40 split in favour of Angular front-end work. The Front end is Angular 19 but anything 14 and above is fine with CSS, HTML, etc. The mid tier and back end is .Net, hosted in AWS, with WebAPI’s, SQL Server and they are using some Co-Pilot AI. The role will be to turn requirements into User Stories and build code. Azure DevOps (Jira experience converts well) is used for tracking projects and there are future opportunities to use Terraform, Infrastructure as a Code and more AWS.

You will join a team of 3 other Senior Developers plus other contract and permanent Developers, Testers, BA’s, PM and so on and this will report into the Development Director. They work to Agile with Daily Stand Ups.

Tech skills required/desirable:

• Full Stack Developer with Angular (preferred) or React and happy to be trained in Angular
• Unit testing
• CSS and can ideally design files
• HTML5
• Developed UI for mobile optimisation/responsive design
• .Net Development using C#
• WebApi’s
• Azure DevOps ideally but Jira and switching to Azure DevOps would be fine
• Source Control - GIT used here and may switch to GitHub
• Cypress or Playwright or other Front End development Testing would be nice to have
• AWS Lamba hosting and other AWS experience + Terraform and IaaC experience all nice to have

Whilst this role is remote, they would like this person to come into their HQ (Chippenham area) for meetings once every 5-8 weeks ideally but may not be as frequent as that.
