We are recruiting for a for a Secondary School in BD9 to work on a long-term basis starting in September!

This school is focused on: specialising in young people aged 3-19 who have complex needs arising from communication and interaction difficulties, autism, and severe learning needs.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion of all students.
  • Providing 1:1 support for all individuals while responding to their individual needs.
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning and evaluating.
  • Ensuring students get the most out of their lessons by tailoring activities where appropriate.

Non-negotiables:

  • Must be able to work full-time (5 days a week).
  • Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills. 
  • Must have worked previously with individuals with autism or ADHD.
  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher.
