Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday 3-day office / 2-day WFH

My client are seeking a mid to senior developer to join there expanding team and work on a variety of business-critical applications, websites and integrations. They are looking for a full-stack PHP developer. This is a Hybrid Role with a 3-day office / 2-day WFH split.

There close-knit team are passionate about the company and projects and offer mentorship, a training program and regular gaming nights for team bonding!

There tech stack includes Laravel, Vue, Magento, Docker, Gitlab (CI/CD), PHPUnit, MySQL and Linux.

They are looking for:

A motivated hands-on developer who enjoys working as part of team. You should have a passion for software development best practices, enjoy learning and sharing innovative technologies and techniques. As a confident developer, you will be provided with opportunities to run as technical lead for projects, working closely with stakeholders to design solutions that solve specific business problems.

Required Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Solid PHP fundamentals
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities / OWASP.
  • Framework experience - ideally Laravel or Symfony.
  • Use of modern workflow / tools (Git, Composer etc…)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills

Desirable but not essential:

  • Familiar with a software development approach - E.g., Agile / Scrum.
  • Experience in writing frontend and backend unit and integration tests (PHPUnit/PEST).
  • Use of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Docker
  • Knowledge of a modern JS framework - E.g. Vue or React.
