About our client

Our client is a leading UK mid market private equity firm which is looking to hire a Fund Accountant into their high performing London based finance function. This is a fantastic chance to work across an impressive breadth of responsibilities within fund finance whilst also liaising closely with the deals team and external stakeholders. The Fund Accountant will work across investor reporting, cash management, fund finance and deal support as well as ad-hoc work across the business within a very commercial finance position with excellent progression opportunities. What the job involves

  • Review of quarterly and annual accounts for various funds, including deal specific and carry entities
  • Preperation of quarterly investor reporting for the funds
  • Liaising with the deal team to facilitate the deal process including funding, legal and FX considerations
  • Cash management duties as well as drawdowns and distribution waterfalls
  • Investor queries
  • Preperation of monthly IRRs for the portfolio, funds and investors
  • liaising with the outsourced fund administrators
Who we are looking for

  • Qualified Accountant (or equivalent)
  • Fund experience would be desirable
  • Able to manage short and medium-term projects to meet deadlines
  • Able to work independently and enjoy researching technical matters
  • Confident in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proficient with Excel would be desirable
