Trinity House Group are working with a high growth Financial Services business based in Wolverhampton who are looking for a Fund Accountant.

As a key member of the Finance team, the Fund Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the company’s financial operations.

Job Type: Full time Permanent

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per year

  • To review accounting records and financial statements.
  • Review of quarterly NAV
  • To perform daily cash management and bank reconciliations.
  • To carry out periodic reconciliation of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses.
  • To calculate fee accruals and prepayments.
  • To prepare quarterly cost transparency reports.
  • To review or perform equalisation and unitisation calculations.
  • To contribute to quarterly investor reports.
  • To contribute to the valuation of the company’s partnerships, including obtaining and reviewing the valuation policies of delegated managers.

The Candidate

  • Able to communicate complex and highly technical matters in a way which is understandable and relevant.
  • Fund Accounting experience with knowledge of NAV, Valuations, Equalisations
  • Experience of producing and presenting quarterly Fund Performance reports.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, able to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems with customers
  • Good report-writing and verbal communication skills.
