Opportunity Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen to join my client, one of the world's largest investment companies, as a Fund & Investment Operations Specialist.

Role Objective: Oversees the daily operational tasks of fund and investment Global Fund Accounting Operations team. Monitor various controls and procedures to ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Serves as an escalation point to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Fund & Investment Operations Analyst, Specialist, you will;
* Working with key stakeholders, acts as subject matter and technical expert, identify, and resolve sophisticated operational issues. Leads internal control framework improvements and formulates strategic recommendations. Supports portfolio managers to ensure operational objectives are met.
* Serves as an escalation contact, crafts, builds, and manages relationships with portfolio traders and managers.
* Proactively anticipates portfolio events and leads process improvement initiatives.
* Maintains communication with internal and external partners to resolve process and reconciliation issues. Coordinates the research and implement complex process improvements.
* Coordinates internal event tracking, performs incident analysis. Evaluates and improves workflows.

Requirements:
* 6 - 10 years' experience.
* Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
* Experience with Net Asset Value.
* Experience with fund accounting.
* Proficient with MS Office (Excel).
* Qualified or nearly qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CFA, CIMA etc)
