Fund Transfer Pricing Analyst - Banking

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fund Transfer Pricing Analyst to join their team on a 12 month FTC. You will be responsible for ensuring the fund transfer pricing policy is executed correctly, ensuring that inter business unit faing deals are accureately recorded by treasury. You will also making sure that net interest margins are reported accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Operations and Treasury teams to ensure accurate data capture for funding deals.
  • Regularly monitor inter-business unit and inter-entity funding deals, ensuring they are recorded accurately per FTP policy (e.g., tenor, rate, amount, currency, book codes, etc.).
  • Perform currency-wise analysis of funding deals to ensure alignment with external counterparties.
  • Conduct monthly margin analysis by business unit, currency, and product, resolving any discrepancies.
  • Assist in the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts for business revenues.
  • Regularly update department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Update FTP policy annually and suggest appropriate modifications as needed.

Risk & Regulatory Duties

  • Stay informed about all applicable internal requirements, including the Bank’s FTP policies and procedures, and adhere to them to avoid undue risk.
  • Accurately execute all controls within your area to minimize the risk of breaches in policy, procedure, or other regulations.
  • Identify and escalate new risks or control gaps to your Line Manager and/or Head of Department.

Training & Competence

  • Complete all annual mandatory regulatory training as per the Bank's training plans and deadlines.
  • Proactively seek out and complete recommended technical and behavioral competencies training required for your role.

Conduct

  • Act in accordance with the FCA/PRA Code of Conduct.

Business Continuity

  • Fulfill all prescribed business continuity requirements as outlined in organizational or departmental plans or as instructed by the Line Manager/Head of Department.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role gained in Banking and Financial Services
  • Extensive knowledge and implementation experience of fund transfer pricing methodology in the banking sector
  • Knowledge of Matched Maturity fund transfer pricing and how it works
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation skills and high attention to detail
