Idex are representing a global trader who are expanding their Power team in London.

Following the hire of an experienced EU Power Trader, the client is seeking to hire an analyst to support trading strategies.

The role will cover:

  • Supply and demand dynamics
  • Regulatory impacts
  • Market trends


The role will have significant exposure to Risk, Trading as well as supporting on investment decisions.

This is the second hire we have supported the client on this year, and there are impressive growth plans into new market/territories that we can discuss.

To be a success in this role, you will need to have a solid analytical background in an Energy Trading environment.

An understanding of the Power markets would be advantageous, even more so EU Power.
