Funds Lawyer

Asset Management firm based in Dublin looking for a Legal Counsel to join their Legal Team, reporting to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities:

• Legislation and Regulation: Monitor, analyse, and implement new regulations affecting the company and managed funds (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID II, EMIR, SFDR, CP86).
• Fund Approvals/Amendments: Handle regulatory applications for new sub-funds and manage post-authorisation amendments. Support product development from concept to approval.
• Fund Documentation: Draft and maintain fund and management documents (e.g., Prospectus, Supplements, KIIDs, Business Plan).
• Contracts: Draft and review commercial contracts (e.g., IMAs, investment advisory agreements, licensing agreements).
• Transactional Documentation:Draft and review transactional documents (e.g., ISDA Agreements, transaction confirmations).
• Legal Advice: Provide business-oriented legal advice on fund umbrellas and governance.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor with 5 years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience in investment funds and fund documentation.
• Strong legal analysis and practical advice skills.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with management and stakeholders.
