Talent Guardian is partnering with an established independent Funeral Directors in Christchurch to offer an exceptional career opportunity as a Funeral Service Operative:
 
  • Salary: £26,000 to £29,000 per annum, based on experience.
  • Contract: Permanent full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00.
  • Additional Earnings: Potential to earn an extra £8,500 to £10,000 per annum with 'on-call' duties (every fifth evening/day).
  • Experience: Preferred but not essential.
  • Annual Leave: 28 days per annum.
  • Pension: Generous company pension with full 8% workplace contribution.
  • Professional Development: Excellent opportunities available.
What are we looking for:
  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy, understanding the significance of their role in caring for the deceased and their families.
  • Be physically fit with a clean UK driving licence, ready to handle responsibilities such as collecting the deceased and participating in funeral processions.
  • Be organised and meticulous, maintaining the funeral fleet to impeccable standards.
  • Be a team player, working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality service.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using telephone systems.
  • Communicate articulately, with excellent written and spoken English skills.
