We are currently working with a fantastic specialist school within the Berkshire district who are seeking Future Educational Psychologists to join their excellent team of staff. This opportunity will open many opportunities to support children with additional needs, varying from ASD, Speech & Language and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs.
This would be an amazing chance for Future Educational Psychologists to gain front line experience and see what it is like to be the first line of support for students facing challenges throughout their adolescence. For Future Educational Psychologists, taking on a supporting role within the school will give an excellent insight to how support and prevention can help young people access high quality education. The responsibilities of the position are all highly transferrable to a career in psychology:
- Working on a 1:1 ratio with children
- Identifying possible trigger areas
- Observing behaviour and reactions
- Facilitating therapeutic techniques
- Collaborating with occupational therapists and behaviour analysts on site
The school are looking for Future Educational Psychologists to join their team and provide further insight to the school regarding how they can adapt the curriculums and tasks set in order for the students to benefit and work to their highest potential.
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
- From £85 - £95 per day
- Located in Berkshire
- SEN Education
- September 2024 start
Experience working with children is beneficial not mandatory. The ideal Future Educational Psychologist should have received a 2:1 degree in Psychology or a relevant subject.
