FX Sales Trader

An award-winning brokerage firm is seeking experienced sales traders to join a rapidly growing team. We specialize in providing energy hedging solutions to UK-based corporate clients. This role involves developing and managing a portfolio of Mid Cap and Large Cap companies, many of which will be entering financial hedges for the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a portfolio of Mid Cap and Large Cap companies.
• Manage the execution process with strong technical proficiency.
• Apply option pricing principles.
• Understand corporate risk management and treasury policies, particularly for Mid Cap UK clients.
• Ensure suitability and appropriateness of hedging solutions.
• Maintain working knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Convert established prospects from the firm’s sales and marketing channels.
• Oversee customer engagement and execution of energy hedging products.
• Educate customers about energy hedging products.
• Collaborate daily with sales, marketing, operations (onboarding and credit), and management.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of option-based hedging solutions.
• Experience in derivative execution.
• Proficiency in credit/margin handling.
• 3-5 years of sales/trading experience in financial markets.
• FX Broking qualifications.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience selling FX options or working within banking, specifically dealing with larger corporate clients.
• Familiarity with the commodities sector.
