Our prestigious Global Investment Bank client is seeking a Foreign Exchange Specialist Architect for an initial 1 year inside IR35 hybrid working contract , with a strong IT background and extensive experience in the Foreign Exchange processes. This role is ideal for someone who has been in an IT Project role within the Capital Market scope of a large CIB for more than 5 years and has made significant contributions to functional architecture scenarios.Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Over 5 years of experience in an IT Project role on the Capital Market scope within a large CIB.
  • Experience with eFX brokerage platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Foreign Exchange, Precious Metal, and Carbon markets, including market structures, stakeholders, and software vendors.
  • Familiarity with Sales/Trader processes in pre-trade across multiple asset classes.
  • Knowledge of trading processes, market risk calculations, and counterparty risks.
  • Accounting knowledge of financial instruments and detailed knowledge of post-trade processes.
  • Expertise in digitalization, data governance, AI integration, IS modularity via APIs, data exchange standards, Data Products, and Cloud migration.
Day to day of the role:
  • Conduct strategic studies of the overall information system, considering inter-business line dependencies.
  • Contribute to the framing of projects by supporting professions for their expressions of need and the architectural scenarios of the solutions to be designed.
  • Create and maintain Business and IT strategy documents for certain business lines.
  • Serve as a credible interlocutor for Front Office and Operations activity managers, on par with IT department managers.
