We are on the lookout for a Gardener to join our team in the Southwark area.

The Role:

• Maintain and enhance parks, playgrounds, and green spaces to meet high standards.
• Care for grass verges along roads and green spaces on housing estates.
• Use basic horticultural machinery and equipment in routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure Health & Safety guidelines are strictly followed in all activities.
• Provide friendly, helpful assistance to residents and park visitors as needed.

The Candidate:

• Essential: Previous experience in grounds maintenance.
• Desirable: Basic plant knowledge.
• Desirable: Familiarity with horticultural machinery and equipment.
• Essential: Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
• Essential: Valid driving license for up to 3.5 tonnes (transit tipper); prior experience driving within a London Borough is preferred.
• Essential: Clear communication skills and the ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Essential: Physical stamina for outdoor work across all weather conditions.
• Essential: Demonstrated experience in customer care and public interaction.
• Essential: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
