Job Title: Gardening Assistant

Location: Chelmsford

Pay Rate:£11.80 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 18:30

Responsibilities:

• Grade plants into trays and pre-pack them for distribution.
• Load pre-graded plants onto a line for final packing.
• Plant young plants into their final pots.
• Lay out potted plants in the production area for optimal growth and organization.
• Perform various gardening tasks to ensure the nursery is well-maintained.
• Assist with watering, weeding, and general plant care.
• Engage in tasks that involve heavy lifting and physical labour.

Requirements:

• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting.
• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
