Garment Technologist

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Fashion Garment Technologist to join a dynamic team and play a vital role in bringing our fashion creations to life.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Fashion Garment Technologist, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless transition from design concept to final product. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating closely with designers to understand the technical aspects of their vision and providing valuable input during the design phase.
• Translating design concepts into detailed technical specifications, including measurements, patterns, and construction methods.
• Conducting thorough fitting sessions and making necessary adjustments to achieve the desired fit and comfort of garments.
• Identifying potential production challenges and working proactively to find innovative solutions that maintain the integrity of the design.
• Collaborating with suppliers and manufacturers to source suitable fabrics, trims, and materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Conducting rigorous quality control inspections at various stages of production to uphold our commitment to excellence.
• Staying updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturing techniques to continuously improve our processes.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Garment Technologist within the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in pattern-making, grading, and garment construction techniques.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for achieving impeccable fit and quality.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
