General Labourer

• Carry out a variety of maintenance tasks including bricklaying, basic carpentry, painting, tiling, emergency tarmac repairs, and lifting and relaying slabs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work.
• Provide support to the mechanical and electrical engineers.
• Report any maintenance or Health & Safety issues promptly.
• Liaise with contractors and carry out site inductions as necessary.

• Proven experience in bricklaying, pointing, and rendering.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief sub-contractors effectively.
• A polite and friendly demeanour with a strong team spirit.
• Ability to prioritise workload efficiently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays, sometimes at short notice.
• Desirable: CSCS card, experience in an event venue or with live events, experience in a listed building, interest in mechanical and electrical engineering, and knowledge of Facilities IT packages (e.g., Tabs).
