About the client

The Management Recruitment Group is seeking a General Manager for an established elderly care provider in London.

Accountabilities

  • Responsible for providing oversight to this organisations care home operations
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in accordance with CQC
  • Provision of financial oversight and management of budgets
  • Ensure the highest quality of care to residents
  • Team leadership and development within the care home including SMT, nurses and other care professionals
  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of all aspects of this organisations care home
  • Responsible for ensuring the care home is maintained from an FM and repairs and building compliance/safety perspective
  • Provide first-class customer service to residents of the care home
  • Management of performance, KPI’s, data, income and cost
  • Work closely with HR, finance as marketing and comms teams
  • Lead on external activities such as external events and conferences

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as a general manager within an elderly care setting
  • Experience leading teams
  • Commercial/financial acumen
  • High-level customer/resident engagement experience
  • Ideally a qualification related to care
