Russell Taylor Group have a brilliant new opportunity for a General Manager/Director to oversee a material testing service business in Herefordshire. The role has come about due to the current General Manager moving to another area of the business.
The ideal candidate will come from a technical background (iso 17025) and must have had exposure to NADCAP as the company are working towards gaining NADCAP accreditation.

The Role
• The main purpose of this position is to drive the business forward and take responsibility for the day-to-day laboratory services supplied both internally and externally.
• To take ownership of the revenue goals.
• To grow the external revenue.
• Overall responsibility and authority for the technical operation of the laboratory.
• Implementation of the Quality System.
• Maintaining and improving services to internal and external customers.

The Person
• Previous experience with NADCAP/metallurgy/materials
• Experience of managing - this site cover 35 employees
• Experience of commercial and financial P&L
• Previous experience of ISO 17025
• Previous experience of formulating business strategy
• Entrepreneurial flair and creative approach to business
• Ability to communicate with various levels of stakeholders.
• Demonstrates assertiveness, determination, and perseverance
• Enthusiastic and able to enthuse others.
• Loyal and reliable with a friendly personality
