Key Responsibilities: As a General Assembly Operative, you will work as part of a small team to perform manufacturing functions in accordance with relevant standards and certification procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly
Hydro testing
Wiring assemblies
Preparation and cleaning down of finished product
Additional Duties & Responsibilities:
Reading and comprehending instructions and following established procedures.
Collecting all materials and equipment needed for the process.
Taking precision measurements to ensure the perfect fit of components.
Selecting or modifying components based on measurements and specifications.
Aligning materials and assembling parts to create complex units.
Conducting quality checks to ensure the highest product quality.
Maintaining equipment in good, clean condition.
Reporting any issues, malfunctions, or defective parts.
Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Skills:
Use of hand tools is an advantage
Full training will be given on the above.
Ideal Candidate: To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
Proven experience as an assembler is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Technical knowledge and the ability to read drawings and adhere to procedures.
Competence in using tools and machines.
A good understanding of quality control principles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Exceptional hand-eye coordination and physical condition.
A strong commitment to health and safety practices.
Salary: From £11.50 per hour plus.
