Syntech Recruitment are currently partnering with a leading provider of high-quality powder coating and finishing services. Our client pride themselves on their commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Operator to join the Material Prep Area team. We are always looking for people with a "finishing" background (powder coating/paint/finishing/spraying etc) but people with a general background in manufacturing are encouraged to employ as full training will be provided!

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

• Material Preparation:
  • Prepare materials for powder coating and finishing processes.
  • Clean, sand, and mask parts as required to ensure they are ready for coating.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect materials before and after preparation to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Training and Development:
  • Participate in training programs to learn about new tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge related to the material preparation process.
• Housekeeping:
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Assist in the general maintenance of the prep area and equipment.

Requirements:
Qualifications:

• No prior experience required; full training provided.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
