We are seeking a Geography Teacher to join a dynamic and forward-thinking Humanities Team at an excellent school catering to KS5. This role is an exceptional opportunity for an outstanding humanities practitioner to step significantly contribute to the development of the curriculum within the school.
Day to Day of the Role:- Teach Geography and potentially other Humanities subjects across ages 11 to 18.
- Work under the head of the Humanities Faculty to raise standards.
- Engage in the school’s professional learning programmes to enhance teaching and learning in the classroom.
- Participate in mentoring programmes, comprehensive induction, and continuous professional learning (CPL).
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote Humanities across the school and achieve successful outcomes for students.
- Experience of teaching Geography within UK schools.
- Excellent subject knowledge in Geography and Humanities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the right to work in the UK.
- A forward-thinking individual with determination and passion for promoting Humanities.
- Commitment to teaching across the 11-18 age range and achieving success through teamwork.
