Position: PE Teacher (Girls' PE)

Location: New Forest, Hampshire

Start Date: September 2024

Salary: £130-£200 per day

Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our dedicated team, specifically to teach Girls' Physical Education. The successful candidate will have a passion for encouraging young women to achieve their best in physical activities, promoting healthy lifestyles, and developing a lifelong love of sports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons tailored to girls aged 11-16.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive environment that encourages all students to participate.
  • Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and teams.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations in sports and physical education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching PE, with a focus on girls' sports and activities.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Enthusiasm for outdoor activities and an appreciation for the natural environment of the New Forest is advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £140.00-£200.00 per day
