Description
- Manage and optimise global supply chain operations.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies.
- Oversee the sourcing of commodities.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
Profile
A successful Global Commodity Specialist should have:
- Experience in procurement within in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. - Ideally plastics.
- Strong knowledge of global supply chain operations.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within large supply chain teams..
- Ability to develop and implement successful procurement strategies.
