Description

  • Manage and optimise global supply chain operations.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Oversee the sourcing of commodities.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Profile

A successful Global Commodity Specialist should have:

  • Experience in procurement within in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. - Ideally plastics.
  • Strong knowledge of global supply chain operations.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within large supply chain teams..
  • Ability to develop and implement successful procurement strategies.
