GMP Chemist

Walker Cole International is currently searching for a GMP Chemist to join an exciting biotech company based in the Southwest of England.

Your duties and responsibilities as a GMP Chemist will include:

• Work as part of a lab-based team, responsible for manufacturing products under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
• Maintain compliance to GMP by identifying deviations and rapidly escalating to relevant stakeholders.
• Reviewing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contributing to the development of the quality management system (QMS).
• Completing manufacturing in accordance with batch documentation in line with Health and Safety Standards.

A successful candidate for the GMP Chemist will demonstrate the following:

• Degree level education in Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of practical organic chemistry.
• Work experience in a cGMP environment.
• The successful candidate will be a highly productive and organised individual, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
