Goods in/ Warehouse operative

Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for our busy client based in Farnham on a permanent basis.

!! PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE A FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE FOR THIS ROLE , DUE TO LOCATION!!

Duties include but aren’t limited to the following...

• Report to Warehouse & Logistics Manager
• Assist Goods In Team Leader with day to day warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading of lorries / containers/Raw goods/stock.
• Take delivery of materials into warehouse, check quantity, quality and store
• Move goods between and around warehouse
• Assist with daily cycle checks and end of year stock take
• Palletise and wrap finished goods out.
• General warehouse duties

Ideal candidate will have the following...

• Previous warehouse/goods in experience.
• Must have a Full UK Driving licence & own mode of transport.
• Knowledge of warehouse health & Safety.
• Must be a punctual person, who is great at working alone but also great at working as a team.
• Forklift licence would be ideal but is not a deal breaker.
• Previous experience with inventory management/automated warehousing systems.

Hours Days & Pay...

• Monday to Friday
• 7.30am-4pm/ 8.30am-5pm
• 37.50 hrs per week.
• Occasional overtime offered.
• £25,000 PA
