Our client a well-respected and reputable professional membership body based in the East Midlands is currently looking for an Interim Governance & Executive Assistant.

The role of Interim Governance & Executive Assistant.

The purpose of the role is to ensure governance processes and procedures flow smoothly and support the Executive.

In your role as Interim Governance & Executive Assistant, amongst other things, you are responsible for:

  • Setting up Board Meetings
  • Liaising with external stakeholders
  • Driving the momentum with the Executive Team
  • Collating and distributing papers for board meetings
  • Minuting meetings
  • Ensuring stakeholders have access to the relevant documentation in time for meetings
  • Ensuring processes are running smoothly

The Person

Must have previous governance and executive assistant experience in a membership organisation.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of marketing principles and strategy, including digital
  • Good inter-personal skills with the ability to foster strong working relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
