About our client

Our client is an entrepreneurial investment platform with a unique approach to GP seeding and history of creating funds investing across the capital structure. Alongside this, they are majority owners in some high profile businesses across sports, media and other sectors. Most recently, they established a European, software-focused fund, with a team of impressive investors previously at tier-one firms such as Hg, Expedition and Carlyle.

They are looking for a commercial individual with GP seeding experience to work as an Associate in London, working directly alongside the managing partners. You will have a core focus on GP seeding and also be involved on an ad hoc basis on direct investing across both the funds and platform itself. What the job involves

  • Heavily involved in GP seeding, working on the full life cycle from ideation, strategy and creation of funds
  • Support the team and portfolio companies with the strategy development, business planning, monitoring, fundraising, and exit planning requirements
  • You will devise forward-thinking strategies to setup new funds and be instrumental to the success of the platform
  • Representing the fund in the industry - attending conferences and networking with investors
Who we are looking for

  • Relevant experience in GP seeding or GP stakes investing is essential
  • Additional experience in banking or consulting is preferred
  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong research and data analytics skills
  • A natural networker with an entrepreneurial mindset
