An exciting opportunity for an Administrator/Secretary to work at a prestigious sixth form College in South Kensington. They operate a shift system during term time hours of 08.30-17.00, 09.00-17.30 and 10.00-18.30. A degree of flexibility is required, particularly at busy times of the year such as Easter Revision and August Recruitment where some late evenings or weekends may need to be worked.

The role is responsible for administrative support for senior members of staff, including student reports, typing letters, filing, diary management, maintenance of student files and providing other administrative support as required. You will process student enrolment forms, log tuition fee payments, answer telephone calls and field to appropriate member of staff, greet visitors and handle student enquiries. You will sort and distribute the post, manage the stationery stock, replacing as necessary and print and send out absence letters at the end of each day. You will handle all internet/website enquiries.

In order to be considered for this role you will 'A’ level standard or above, have experience working in a customer service/reception, possess clear and accurate oral and written communication skills in order to deal with staff and students. You will be able to work efficiently in order to meet deadlines, have good record keeping skills, possess a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, good IT skills are essential, particular Microsoft Word and Excel. They are looking for someone with the ability to multi-task, work beyond normal hours at peak times, are able to work as part of a team, able to use your initiative, be flexible, adaptable and forward thinking. You must have experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information. You will be of smart appearance with a friendly and helpful manner.
