About the Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious applicant to be part of a dynamic and motivated team, building capacity and distribution for independent brokers.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Deliver a first-class A* service to all brokers, building outstanding broking relationships and maintaining regular efficient contact (daily / weekly) regarding their opportunities and how we can support them.
  • Ensure you are always adherent to the regulatory requirements involved with the role of account handler, inclusive but not limited to: the companies' policies & processes, appropriate risk placement, updating of applicable systems, observance of any Insurer guidelines and bespoke requirements.
  • Grow and utilise your knowledge to guide your brokers with risk placement, identifying areas of opportunity and growth for the company.
  • Consistently exceed agreed SLA's whilst complying to company process and procedures.
  • Track and measure your individual and team output/performance by in line with agreed SLA's.
  • Effectively manage and prioritise your workload.
  • Review your output/tasks (at least weekly), highlighting any areas of growth & development.
  • Believe in the AUK approach and be part of a dynamic evolving team who strive to be the best in their field, offering a virtual quoting desk to small brokers.
  • Be part of a collaborative work force, supporting our key stake holders enabling us to be the first choice MGA for our chosen markets.
  • Represent AUK MGA in all you do, knowing you have done all you can with each task.

About You

The ideal candidate:

  • Ambitious individual looking to build a career.
  • Customer Service or Sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Driven and proactive.
  • Good IT skills - experience in using Microsoft.
  • Strong time management and Organisational skills.
  • Desire to be part of a growing team who work hard, support each other, and celebrate together.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a B2B and B2C environment within the Insurance / Financial services industry.
  • Insurance knowledge - preferred, however full training will be provided.
  • Interested in becoming Cert Cii within 3 years (post probation)
