An exciting role has arisen working for a fantastic, welcoming and growing pharmaceutical company who are growing organically and via acquisition.

The position will offer great experience for a recent Graduate who can work closely with the Financial Controller, learning all aspects of accountancy. There will also be promotion opportunities too.

The duties for the role will include:

  • Preparation of management accounts and monthly financial analysis
  • cost centre management
  • cashflow management and forecasting and group treasury
  • Intercompany management and reconciliations
  • budgeting, statutory reporting
  • VAT/Intrastat/HMRC returns
  • Supporting purchase ledger or sales ledger activities as required.
  • Provide information as necessary during the full year and half year audit process.
  • Support completion of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP / FRS101.

The Person:

  • Educated to degree standard (finance/business orientation preferable)
  • Strong numeracy and technical skills.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and able to develop ideas through to the execution stage
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and to a deadline.
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to use computer software packages, including good knowledge of Excel.
