Graduate Accounts/Tax Trainee

The Firm has a broad offering but is looking for someone to initially be involved in basic accountancy, tax, and payroll work, but would who would want to then work up the levels and expand on their experience.
Duties would include:
Account preparation, bookkeeping, and general administration
oBookkeeping and preparation of accounts
oTax return preparation and completion
oPreparing new client information records
oUnderstanding PAYE and assistance with payroll cases as needed
oGeneral office administration duties
The ideal candidate will preferably:
oHave a strong academic/exam background. Have gained a relevant university degree, at least a 2:1 degree, and strong A-level gradesBe enthusiastic to learn and to understand how the UK tax system operates
oHave good communication skills
oBe able to work alone and as part of a team
It is essential you have a full UK driving licence and use of a car
This role will be a hybrid to include both working from home and presence in their Kent. They have are friendly and supportive office environment and have found that trainees learn best when working mainly with in-person coaching.
