The Company:

My client is looking for a motivated and ambitious Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their dynamic team. Their Acoustics division is part of a larger multidisciplinary company, which values career progression and professional development. This is an exciting role for someone looking to kick start their career in Acoustics. The successful candidate will be involved in environmental noise assessments, building acoustics and sound insulation projects.

Role responsibilities include:

• Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
• Liaising with key professionals.
• Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
• Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.

Ideal candidate will need:

• A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
• A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
• An interest in coding and script writing.
• Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
• Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
• UK driver's license.
