Graduate Acoustic Consultant

My client is an independent noise acoustic consultancy that specialises in working with residential and commercial developers in both the public and private sectors. They provide services ranging from initial site inspections to onsite noise surveys and impact assessments. Additionally, they offer remedial advice to clients and serve as expert witnesses in legal cases.

Requirements:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possession of a Bachelor's (BSc) and/or a Master's (MSc) degree in Acoustics or a relevant field, along with membership to the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
  • Proficiency in organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively through close collaboration with the entire team.
  • Willingness to promptly travel to various locations for project-related purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct acoustic modelling using CaDnaA, Odeon, Insul, and Revit software.
  • Engage with primary site managers, line managers, and other essential site stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.
  • Perform on-site testing, including noise and vibration surveys, to collect a comprehensive dataset for the development of informative reports.
