Job Title: Graduate Acoustic Consultant

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000per annum, Plus Benefits

The Company:

My client is a consultancy firm specialising in acoustics, noise, and vibration control. They provide a range of services including, environmental noise assessments, building acoustics, architectural acoustics, and vibration control. Notable projects include their work on the Shard and London's Cross rail, where they conducted noise and vibration assessments, optimised acoustics and compliance with regulatory standards.

Role responsibilities include:

• Collecting acoustical data and computer modelling, using CATT, Odeon, INSUL, Cadna/A, Revit, and other software modelling tools.
• Liaising with key professionals.
• Providing noise and vibration solutions, according to Building Regulations, Building Bulletins, and British and International Standards.
• Preparing accurate technical reports, according to company training.

Ideal candidate will need:

• A degree in either Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree, involving Acoustics modules, will also be considered.
• A motivated attitude and be able to learn quickly.
• An interest in coding and script writing.
• Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
• Keen to become a member of the Institute of Acoustics.
• UK driver's license.
